Since 1926 Providence Country Day has been one of the pillars of Rhode Island’s education ecosystem. Well-known as a nurturing place that brings out students’ unique gifts–without creating a high-pressure environment–it nonetheless had strong competitors to contend with.

In 2020, PCD had a groundbreaking announcement–through a series of savvy financial moves, they were putting their values of inclusion into action, and cutting tuition by 40%.

PCD engaged us to lead a rebranding of the school, develop the narrative that would present their bold action to the world, and lead PR to get that message out there, all with the goal of increasing admissions interest by 20%.

Working together, we developed THE QUEST, a dramatic framing of PCD’s philosophy, approach, and value.

Did it work? Yes, though we may have overshot: admissions interest shot up 100%.
