“We’re planning to cancel the event,” said Evergreen’s Director of Development, “but somebody said that before we do, we should call you.”

After seven months of COVID quarantine, staff, parents, and volunteers were burnt out and demoralized—and a Zoom fundraiser seemed like a disaster in the making.

As we dug into their brand identity, their warm, caring culture, sense of humor, and community rituals were key ingredients for an evening that could be engaging, entertaining… and profitable.

Guests and volunteers declared it “a blast.,” and the event raised 140% over goal.
