This woman-owned, woman-led firm took the bold step of rebranding from the name up, reclaiming the market leadership that was rightly theirs in content, longevity, and vision. And we were the lucky so-and-so’s who helped them get there.

In a hotel conference room in 1967, an engineer hosted a class for technical professionals looking to increase their knowledge and skills. For the next 50+ years, CfPA—the Center for Professional Advancement—was the unquestioned leader in technical training worldwide.
Of course, if you find a way to make money, someone will find a way to copy you. A raft of competitors crowded the market with inferior knock-offs, but with better branding, marketing, and website design, those johnny-come-lately’s were gaining ground.
The all-female executive team approached Rustle & Spark about a complete rebrand: name, logo, identity system, website, advertising, and communications collateral.
The result was an A+, with a new name, look, brand voice, and a structure and design that served their customers—retail and institutional—with the same warmth and care every instructor brings to class.

Course detail
We made it easy for users to find the right course, but they also needed to be able to brief their manager on why the expense is justified, so we created pages that double as tearsheets to facilitate proxy sales.
